I was born in 1985 in Akureyri, a small town in the north of Iceland.
From a early age I developed a passion for creating art, wich only grew with the years. While studying fine arts in Akureyri, I had the opportunity to go as a exchange student to Lahti (Finland), studying at the Lahti institute of fine arts. From 2008 - 2012 I lived in Barcelona (Spain), studying Art direction and working. Now you may find me in Reykjavík (Iceland) still doing my thing.
I have had few solo exhibitions, been apart of over 30 group exhibitions in various countries and many live painting shows and festivals.
As an Art Director and Designer I have worked on a lot of projects for all types of clients. Redeveloping, Designing and having fun.
I am the founder of Absorbism, a way of painting that does not exclude any way of expression, but gathers them in one whole. An open concept with guided gestures. In other words the canvas functions like a sponge.
My paintings consist of Oil, Acrylics, Spray paint and other materials.
They most often characterize in bold brush strokes, rhythmic lines, clear forms that create a figurative concept and symbolic gestures.
Inspiration includes the nature, music, streetart, people and their stories.
So, to make a long story short.
I was born, I created and I haven't died yet.
